Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê (/ˈθɪsɪ/ /ˈrɘno/ [channel (of water); artery] [bank]) is a temperate Town located in the Mèrevaqêyê Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê was founded by Alma Êmêv Èlkèj, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê receives an average of 279 cm/y (109 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1166 m (3825 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1208, by Alma Êmêv Èlkèj. The establishment of Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê is buildings are located arround a single crampt packed earth mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê's exceptionaly well made fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
A look around Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye.
Civic Infrastructure
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê's parks.

Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê's grid is powered by an arcane means.
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.
Gêlëom-rêno Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
